Honey Balsamic Beer Glazed Shrimp Skewers are a delicious treat for your taste buds. The sweet and sour marinade goes well with the grilled goodness. A great dish for your BBQ parties

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup beer pale ale or lager
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together honey, balsamic vinegar, beer, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade

Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish

Pour half of the marinade over the shrimp, ensuring they are well-coated

Reserve the remaining marinade for basting later

Marinate the shrimp in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat

Thread marinated shrimp onto soaked wooden skewers, ensuring they are evenly distributed

Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp turn opaque and slightly charred, basting with the reserved marinade during grilling

Once cooked, remove the shrimp skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes
