This Keto French Onion Dip is thick, creamy, and full of flavor. Its a hit with everyone and fits into a ketogenic or Trim Healthy Mama THM S diet. Use it to dip vegetables or low-carb crackers.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives or green onions for garnish optional
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
Add chopped onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes
Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 2 minutes
In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Fold in the caramelized onions and garlic
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld
Garnish with chopped chives or green onions before serving, if desired
