Enjoy these sweet vegan brownies with a gooey caramel center. There are no animal products in them, so theyre great for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup vegan butter, melted
- 1/2 cup non-dairy milk
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegan caramel sauce
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, and salt
Add melted vegan butter, non-dairy milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients
Mix until well combined
Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased baking dish
Drizzle vegan caramel sauce over the brownie batter
Cover the caramel layer with the remaining brownie batter
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Allow the brownies to cool before slicing into squares
